Winner--Bunny Hop Blog Candy

RANDOM.ORG - Integer Widget

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to announce a winner. It's been a crazy couple weeks with the end of the quarter looming on Friday. I've been trying to balance family, catching up on grades, and two classes I'm taking. Somewhere in there, I managed to get 25 cards out to Operation Write Home. Busy, busy!

Anyway, I'm happy to announce the winner is Dana! Dana, I emailed you, and as soon as I hear back, I'll pop your package in the mail :)

OWH Bunny Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Operation Write Home Bunny Hop! As most of my loyal readers know, I've been making cards for OWH for the last six months or so. I can't think of a better way to help others. I get to make cards and support our troops at the same time! I am so grateful to be able to do something for the men and women who give their all for our country.
To find out more about Operation Write Home, click here. To find out about upcoming deadlines, click here. The next two dates are March 18th for Easter cards and March 31st for Mother's Day cards. If you want to read the heartfelt notes from the troops, be sure to visit the hero blog. The notes and stories never fail to bring a tear to my eyes.
The spring cards I decided to include both use Close To My Heart's new Sofia papers. I love these papers since Hollyhock and Blush are two of my favorite colors.
This first card uses Happy Forever (the adorable hedgehog) and For Every Occasion stamps with Opaques.

This one uses CTMH's Rosy Regards and A Little Everything stamps with Stickles and CTMH Designer Ribbon.
Be sure to leave a comment with your name and email. I'm giving away blog candy to one lucky person that includes a stamp set and fun embellishments!

Baby Card

I made this card for a friend of mine who just had a baby girl. She'll probably see it on here long before I ever manage to get it in the mail. The card was inspired by this outfit. I fell in love with this outfit not just for the adorable jeans, but the fact that it was cute and girlie without being pink. Aren't the little striped socks just too cute for words?! I love getting to shop for little girls :)

The card used all CTMH products (except the Copics). The stamps were Ms. On the G0 and Express Postage. The papers were Whoops-a-Daisy. I found a whole unopened pack of that paper when I was cleaning. I don't even remember buying it. Must be one of the free packs I received at some point.

Cafe Lucy Birthday Card

For this card, I used Cafe Lucy from Sparkle Creations and CTMH Happy Birthday. The flower is cut from the CTMH Designer Ribbon, Pink Collection. I also used Stickles, brown ribbon, and CTMH Opaques (pearl in the center of the flower). The paper is Jolie Chocolat from SEI.
A very special Happy Birthday to my sister today! Happy Birthday, Sossy!!
