We have Internet again--woohoo! Well, we made the big move last Saturday, but we didn't get Internet hooked up until Wednesday. Today is the first chance I've been able to get on for more than a few minutes, so I thought I'd update.
This week has been insanely busy for us. We moved in Saturday, got some unpacking done Saturday and Sunday. Then school started for Austin and I on Monday. This was the first week back to work and school for ALL of us, and it's been exhausting. I love the school I'm teaching at, but getting used to working all day every day again has been tough. Austin is loving his new school. It sounds like he's making some new friends, so that's good.
Brendan has had a tougher adjustment. Yesterday was the first day in two weeks he didn't cry. And by cry I mean sob from the time I wake him up in the morning, all the way through our morning routine, all the way to school and into the classroom. It's been heartbreaking for me, but I have no choice. Thursday he only cried a little though and yesterday he didn't cry at all, so we're making progress. He likes school once he's there. When I pick him up, he's excited and tells me all they did--he's just having a tough time being left behind I think.
I'm just glad this is a three day weekend. Our house is just boxes everywhere!! I'm hoping to get unpacked and maybe even get a few cards made since I have a swap that's overdue. I don't know though since this is currently what my scrap room looks like:

I think this is living proof of Dave Barry's quote, "There's a fine line between hobby and mental illness" LOL! THere are a couple sets of drawers still in the garage and a few boxes out of view in the pic. I'm hoping to just set up a table in there and work out of boxes until I have time to set up everything .
Well, I'm off to get to work on the house. Here's the layout I made a few weeks ago with our 4th of July pictures. I used CTMH's Blue Ribbon papers and stickease, plus the July Word Puzzle stamps.
