Pond Soup
This was one of my favorite moments of our camping trip. We spent a good portion of our trip trying to keep the kids out of the water spigot. We had to let them have their fun with this one. First Austin grabbed the pot and filled it with water. He said he was "washing it". The next thing we knew it was filled with pine needles, rocks, dirt and who knows what else. Mike asked him what in the world they were doing and he said, "Making pond soup". How can you deny him that one. They sat stirring and "cooking" the soup for at least half an hour. We all had a good laugh over that one. I'm glad he's got such a great imagination--even though it does get him in trouble sometimes :)

I'm Back...
We made it back from Idaho and would you believe after hauling my stuff all the way up there, I didn't scrap or stamp once?! Crazy! I did visit Archivers and left a little piece of me there (a chunk of my money--LOL)--wow I wish we had once here--very nice :) We had a great time camping and visiting the zoo. I took so many pictures that I think I'm going to need to make this trip an album of it's own--LOL! Here are some of my favorite pics:

Mike took these two at the Butterfly Exhibit at the zoo.

You know you're addicted to scrapbooking when...
I have to share this because only fellow scrappers would get it :) Mike was sitting at the computer last night and turned around and saw my big CTMH bag by the door. He announced that he was rolling his eyes, in case I couldn't see. He told me that he didn't know which was worse, that I was taking that huge bag on vacation with us or that it was the ONLY bag packed and ready to go. He should know my priorities by now--LOL!

This crazy summer...
These last couple weeks have been crazy! After we got back from Las Vegas, Austin started swim lessons. Sadly, Brendan was on the wait list and didn't get in, so he and I just have to sit for a half an hour every day staring longingly at the pool. He's been pretty good about it, but it's still sad. By the time we finish lessons, play at the park and run errands it's lunch and nap time. I am just exhausted.
Saturday we are leaving to go up to Idaho, so things are pretty crazy trying to get things cleaned and packed. We decided to go camping for part of the time we're up there, so we need to pack our regular stuff, camping stuff, toys and of course scrapping stuff. Good thing we bought the van! I just hope the boys will be good on the drive. We're going to try and do all 14 hours in one day. Pray that we get there safely and still sane :)
I can't wait to get up there. My mom and I have big plans for scrapping and manicures (shhh don't tell Mike!). They just opened an Archivers up there in Boise, so that's definitely on my list. As for Mike and I, we have plans for a few date nights while Grandma has the kiddos. Seeing Harry Potter is definitely on that list. Oh and of course reading it. My copy is being sent to my mom's house, but I'm seriously thinking of going to get a second copy at midnight tomorrow night so I can have it for the drive--LOL!

Some pages Ive been working on
Mike took Austin swimming while Brendan was taking a nap, so I finally had some time to scrap :) These pages are all using CTMH Floral Tapestry paper and Stickease. I love the way they turned out. I was trying to do double duty planning an upcoming workshop and participating in a couple of scrapbooking challenges
This was a page about me and my sisters--I used words from the song "My Sister" by Reba McEntyre. The blank spot is where I want to add one more picture of us when we were little. I couldn't find one, so I'll wait until I go to my mom's and steal one of her--LOL
This last one is a layout from the photo session we did last month. They are the first family photos we've taken in 12+ years

This page is in response to a challenge to do a page about your dreams and include a song title--I used "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts
