Trying to get my Mojo back

I just have not felt like creating lately. When I do drag all my stuff out, I mostly sit and stare at it. I got the new CTMH stamp of the months for fall/winter in the mail and couldn't wait to play with them. However, I'm limited on paper choices and embellishments, so it wasn't easy. I am so in love with September's stamp set, though! It's beautiful and so versatile.

Here's a couple I made a few days ago. I love the fall look of these cards. Colors are Barn Red, Olive, and Autumn Terracotta. I used paper from the Boom Di Ada kit. Yes, for those who actually read the cards, the second one is missing the word "happy" oops, somehow I didn't ink/stamp it all the way. It now says "happy" on the inside--LOL!

Last night I made this one using the same set and Paper Garden papers/color: Petal, baby Pink, Blush, and Buttercup. Sorry the pic is a little dark. I don't have any editing software on this computer, so I can't lighten it up. I do love this card, but three cards that followed, ended up in the trash. Don't know what my deal is, but I hope I snap out of it soon!

We're still fighting the sickies here--to the tune of 10 Dr visits and almost $300 in the last 3 weeks. I may have to take Brendan back today again. Austin ended up going 6 times for his eye. Mike and I both ended up with bronchitis. The three of us were all put on antibiotics. Then I took Brendan in and they said his was viral to just give him Tylenol and/or Motrin. The poor kid isn't getting better and I don't understand how all the rest of us could have something bacterial and his could be viral--doesn't make sense to me. Now his eye isn't looking good, so I may have to go back today. Ugh!

Down to the wire on the house now. Next week should be a busy one. I go back to work on Monday and Brendan will start preschool. Thursday, Mike will get back from DC (he left Monday) and we will sign on the house. Saturday we move in, Sunday I have a back to school picnic, then the following Monday school starts for my school and Austin's. If we survive it sane, life will be good :) As much as I'm not ready for school to start, I am beyond ready to get back into a routine again. Plus, there's always shopping for school supplies--my favorite part of going to school :) I know--I'm a big dork, but there's nothing quite like new pencils and notebooks to bring a smile to my face!!

I love the colors of all the cards, and the floral theme you have going on there. I think the pastel one is my favorite though.

Btw, sign me up for the dork list, too! LOL I just LOVE going down the school supplies aisle, and I love to buy them, too. My teenage son has more than enough school supplies, because I always stock up, and he never uses them!!! Grrr. LOL If I need something though, I always know to check his desk drawer for notebooks, pens, pencils, glue sticks, etc. :)

I have to stop myself from over-buying school supplies. When crayons are only $.22 I buy like 20 packs! There is almost nothing better than a brand new pack of crayons!

Wishing you luck on the next two weeks! Hope it all goes well!

I'm exhausted just reading your about your busy, chaotic schedule! My kids have long outgrown the need to have school supplies but every fall I find myself strolling down the school supply isles - just too many good memories about those shopping days. And yes - new crayons are the best! If I see your Mojo I'll tell it to head home!! lol...

Nice colors on the card. Have fun with the school supplies, I am not even going there because I don't want to buy things without a home to put them in until the end of September...boohoo.
