No New Artwork

Haven't had any time this week. I'm hoping to work on valentines with the kids later, so maybe I'll have something to post tonight. It's been busy here, but I feel very loved this week. Friday night was my birthday, so my mom watched the boys and Mike took me out for a FABULOUS dinner!! We went to The Melting Pot, which is a fondue place downtown, and it was absolutely to die for. You start out with veggies, apples and bread to dip into hot cheese. Then the next course is salad, followed by a divine main course: Fillet Mignon, salmon, pork, chicken and shrimp, with all kinds of dipping sauces. Finally, a decedent dessert of strawberries, cheesecake, marshmallows, pound cake, and brownies with white and dark chocolate for dipping. I thought they were going to have to roll us out of there--LOL! While it was utterly divine, it will definitely be a once in a while treat--with a bill that was $100 before tip, we don't have the $$ to do that very often.

In addition to dinner, Mike spoiled me even more. These are the gorgeous flowers he sent me at work.

Then for gifts, they got me a new lens for my SLR camera, Cooking Mama for Wii, and of course, a Snuggi. If you missed the giggles about these, I blogged about them here. No more hands trapped inside my blanket--LOL.

Oh, and I want to thank everyone who has sent cards--I really appreciate the love :) Here are some gorgeous hand made ones I've received. The top left one was from Kim McCall--a good friend and talented CTMH consultant. The top right was from Sparkle--gorgeous as always. Carmen made the bottom one--it is stunning in person--shimmers in the light. She sent it all the way from Switzerland, too :) Thanks girls!

Took this picture Wednesday night--Austin was making a "sports trail" that would lead his brother to his hiding spot. What will the child think of next?!

The rest of our weekend has been fairly relaxing. Today we went over to my school for a pancake breakfast. The boys had fun playing with the Smart Board in my room, and Austin is excited to be attending that school next year. I think it will be a good fit for him.

Off to have something to eat and work on some valentines with the kids. Have a great week.
